About the brand Leoli is a small UK brand specialising in luxury handmade clothing for children, and soon the plan is to develop a range for adults that want to twin with their little ones and nursing mothers.
Established in 2021 and run by Kate Rahnama, all designs have been created with the patterns made from scratch exclusively for the Leoli brand.
The styles and fit of each product in each size have all been extensively tested to ensure the perfect fit. With the smaller sizes having plenty of space to accommodate all brands of nappies.
All garments are made by hand here in the UK from the highest quality organic cotton fabrics that will be soft and comfortable on both yours and your baby’s skin.
You can also personalise your children’s clothing with their names or initials in embroidery on selected products to make it that extra bit special!
Charity Twice a year along with the launch of each new season we will be introducing a new print to support a Charity close to our heart. Focusing on smaller local Charities or those that are personal to us and our customers. 10% of any sales of products made from the selected print will be donated to that Charity.
Suggestions for future Charities to support are always welcome :)
The family behind the brand Our family is made up of myself Kate, my husband Pouriya, our two boys Leo & Oliver – the inspiration behind ‘LEOLI’.
As parents of two boys we understand the need for tasteful, durable and comfortable clothing. I have always felt there is a gap in the market here, especially for boys!
High street prices are rising higher, whilst manufacturers are continuously looking for ways to keep the production costs down. Resulting in over priced garments for your little ones. My goal is to source the best quality fabrics and produce a finished product that will last, look and feel great!
I graduated with a fashion honours degree in 2012. It was here that I learnt the key, technical skills required for garment design and construction. From how to create patterns tailored to fit, drawing up the designs on illustrator, fabric selection, to all the complexity that goes into the finished garment itself and so, so much more!
I studied fashion because I enjoyed textiles & garment construction. It was something I was good at from a young age.
My career then took me down a completely different path to work as a horticultural buyer. I absolutely loved it and learnt so much that will forever stay with me that I have been able to apply to starting my own business. After the birth of Leo, my first son in 2016 I had the idea of starting a clothing brand... but that’s all it was, an idea, a dream.
I returned to work after maternity leave as I felt I had come too far to turn my back on a career I loved and had worked so hard to achieve.
After one week back at work I found out my second bundle of joy was on its way... Oliver, born in 2018.
At this point I knew I had to turn this ‘ dream ‘ and hobby into a reality.
So with the full support of my husband who has been the driving force behind me telling me that I can achieve anything I put my mind to, here I am today. After a couple of years of planning, all set up and ready to give this my best shot!
I hope you enjoy my clothes as much as I have enjoyed designing & making them for you all :)
